Knitwear

Check out these extra large knits by Royal College of Art graduate Xiao Li.   The garments are created from spacer fabric, a synthetic fabric that connects two separate layers by filaments in between that help  it to retain it's shape and remain lightweight.  The thickness and heft of these garments is a bit of an illusion.  The knit textures are taken from Li's own knits which she used to create a silicone mold with creating many of the knit jackets and skirts in the collection.
