Castle House

The London studio Witherford Watson Mann has revived a crumbling 12th century castle in Warwickshire England by melding it with a contemporary living residence.  The combination of the two is pretty amazing.

I am a huge fan of Apiece Apart and lust after most of their garments.  They've got those effortless sillhouettes and fabrics that make you want to wear these garments everyday.  Check out some highlights from their Fall '13 collection.

Stunning Fall13 Couture Collection, Victor & Rolph

Hits and Misses at Dior Fall 2013 Couture Show

As Dior is redefining it's brand through Raf Simmons, the identity of who Dior believes its customer to be is changing as well.  While luxury fashion dictates a certain customer just by price point, the other details seem to be getting clearer as well.  Dior looks to be setting it's sights on a modern lady with an eye for the contemporary, with a nod to the architecture of fashion and leaving behind the lady whom had a bit more of a penchant for fantasy.

Maison Martin Margiela Fall 2013 Couture

Here's a few highlights from the Margiela show below.  It seems to be the first time Margiela has played around much with any kind of beading, embroidery type detail, it's a pretty big step away from past looks.  You'll still see the more typical Margiella pieces such as the one with the oxblood colored jacket below.  I love the face masks!
