Spike Chair

Designed by Alexander Lervik

CHeck out his website full of great designs, I'm partial to the chocolate lamp myself.

Mary Katrantzou keeps getting better

Its impressive when you already thought a designers was creating brilliant work, it's amazing when they keep surprising you.  I've featured Katrantzou's work here before, and at this rate probably will for a long time to come.

The scale and proportion of the garments in relation to the images is the best use of digitized printing out there.   She's also combined multiple techniques such as embroidery through out and over the printed images, distorting the realism of the scenes.

I love it!

Haider Ackerman

Haider Ackerman's Fall 13 collection relied heavily on suited looks with layered textiles.  His cuts were stunning and have been quietly maturing over the last few seasons.  Haider Ackerman found perfect harmony in his multi textured looks combined with his signature choices of luxury fabrics, and a new addition for the designer:  Prints!
