"132 5. ISSEY MIYAKE", developed by Issey Miyake and his Reality Lab team, is both a new label and a new evolution of "A Piece Of Cloth".
The process for creating the folded garments uses a mathematical algorithm. These computer aided designs are set in 2 dimensional forms with the cutting lines preset, once they are folded into their final shape they are heat set.
Miyake's collaboration with Reality Lab has also shifted their focus to using Japanese materials and manufacturing as well as recycled fibers for the garments.
