Weekend Style

Preferably I wear black, blue, grey, greige, etc... all the time.  But sometimes I end up looking like a vampire when I visit the farmers markets in the clothes I wear.  So here's some lovely garments (that are still all those colors) for just such events, bbq's work well with this too!

Nice structured shirt, I'd cut off or remove the drawstring though.  here

Matija Cop

This is the collaboration of fashion design student Matija Cop and Jasminka Koscic.  It is their experiment with the multiplication of material inspired by way cathedrals were currently being repaired with stones that were similar to the original structure.

Knitwear

Check out these extra large knits by Royal College of Art graduate Xiao Li.   The garments are created from spacer fabric, a synthetic fabric that connects two separate layers by filaments in between that help  it to retain it's shape and remain lightweight.  The thickness and heft of these garments is a bit of an illusion.  The knit textures are taken from Li's own knits which she used to create a silicone mold with creating many of the knit jackets and skirts in the collection.
